A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ACCEPT THE LOW BID AND ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH BELK CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE DESIGN/BUILD - GRANULAR STORAGE BUILDING

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has desires to accept the low bid and enter into a contract for the Design/Build - Granular Storage Building;
WHEREAS, the low bidder and the firm selected for the Design/Build - Granular Storage is Belk Construction, Inc.;
WHEREAS, Belk Construction, Inc. has bid $64,500.00 for the Design/Build - Granular Storage;
WHEREAS, funding for the execution of the contract shall come from the Capital Improvements - Parks and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS;
Section1: That the City of Jonesboro shall accept the low bid and enter into a contract with Belk Construction, Inc. in the amount of $64,500.00 for the Design/Build - Granular Storage Building.
Section 2. That funding for the execution of the contract shall come from the Capital Improvements - Parks and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.
Section 3. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
