NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
 
Section 1: That the Code of Ordinances of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, is amended by adding Sections to be numbered 6-9 and 6-10, which sections shall read as follows:
 
(a)      Section 6-9 shall read as follows:
All, City owned and controlled cemetery lots shall cost $200.00 per space.
(b)      Section 6-10 shall read as follows:
All permits issued for the opening of graves shall cost as follows:
On weekdays the fee charged shall be $100.00 and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, the fee shall be $125.00.
 
Section 2: All ordinances and/or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
 
Section 3: It is found and declared by the City Council that this Ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety and emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
 
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of November, 1979.
