A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO APPOINT THE FOLLOWING MEMBER TO THE METROPOLITAN AREA PLANNING COMMISSION AS RECOMMENDED BY MAYOR FORMON

WHEREAS, it is the desire of Mayor Formon to make recommendation on an appointment to the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission to address the current and future needs of City Government; and 

WHEREAS, Mayor Formon and the Nominations and Rules Committee has recommended appointment of the following person to serve on the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission:

Joe Tomlinson for the filling of an unexpired vacancy to expire:   March 31, 2008.

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the above named person is hereby confirmed to serve on the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission.
