RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON A UTILITY EASEMENT IN PATRICK'S THIRD ADDITION AS REQUESTED BY CHRISTINE & ORLESTER MANNING

WHEREAS, the property owners have filed a Petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that a ten foot utility easement, located on Lots 14 through 23 of Patrick's Third Addition be vacated and abandoned.
WHEREAS, the Petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; AND
WHEREAS, Arkansas Code Annotated 14-301-110 requires two weeks public notice before the above easement can be vacated and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advising the public of the request by the property owners to vacate and abandon the portion of said ten foot utility easement, located on Lots 14 through 23 of Patrick's Third Addition and this matter will be heard before the City Council on April 21, 1997 at 6:15 o'clock p.m. in Municipal Court Chambers, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of April, 1997.
