RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS COMMITTEE TO INVESTIGATE THE FEASIBILITY OF LANE CHANGES NEAR WASHINGTON AND MATTHEWS

The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, requests the Streets and Highways Committee of the City Planning Study Group to investigate the feasibility of changing the existing three-lane traffic loop plan on Washington and Matthews to four-lane on Washington to Gee Street to the American Legion property, then a four-lane switch over to Matthews and four-lane from that point on Matthews to Highway 1 bypass or other feasible end point.
