RESOLUTION TO APPOINT MICHAEL POLK TO THE CRAIGHEAD COUNTY SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL AUTHORITY TO FILL THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF JOE HARBUCK

WHEREAS, on April 1, 1985, the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas, joined in the creation of the Craighead County Solid Waste Disposal Authority; and

WHEREAS, Joe Harbuck was appointed to the Authority on April 15, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Harbuck has tendered his resignation from the Authority effective immediately; and

WHEREAS, Mayor Perrin has recommended Michael Polk to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Harbuck.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:

SECTION 1: Michael Polk is appointed to replace Joe Harbuck on the Craighead County Solid Waste Disposal Authority with an expiration date of July 31, 2013.
