RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CONTRACT OF OBLIGATION WITH THE ARKANSAS DEPARTMENT OF POLLUTION CONTROL TO NOW REFERENCE THE ARKANSAS DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro entered into a Contract of Obligation which provides financial assurance by the Arkansas Department of Pollution Control and Ecology (ADPC&E), And;
WHEREAS, pursuant to Act 1219 of the Arkansas General Assembly, the Arkansas Department of Pollution Control and Ecology (ADPC&E) had its name changed to the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ);
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the Contract of Obligation be amended by changing all references from the Arkansas Department of Pollution Control and Ecology to the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality.
