A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAY AND DRAINAGE BOXES ON PARK AVENUE FOR THE CITY AS PRICED IN BID 2006:62

WHEREAS, there is a need to have drainage improvements in the City of Jonesboro;

WHEREAS, bid for the purchase of the drainage improvements have been taken, with the low bid of $16,860.00 being received from Alvin Crabtree & Sons; and

WHEREAS, the money for the said services will be obtained from the drainage account of 07-100-0152-00; and

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized, based upon the need of the improvements, to accept the bid from Alvin Crabtree & Sons.
