AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 822 OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, SECTION TO PROVIDE FOR PARKING ON THE EAST SIDE OF VINE STREET

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: Ordinance No.822, Section 1, is hereby amended to permit parking on the East side of Vine Street between Monroe Avenue and Huntington Avenue.
Section 2: The Chief of Police or some person designated by him is hereby directed to remove all “NO PARKING” signs which may be located on said portion of Vine Street.
Section 3: All ordinances and laws or parts of ordinances and laws in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4: It is found and declared by the City Council that this Ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace and safety and, therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
