RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE JONESBORO BASEBALL BOOSTERS TO PROVIDE YOUTH BASEBALL AT JOE MACK CAMPBELL PARK

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains Joe Mack Campbell Park located at 3021 Dan Avenue.

WHEREAS,  the Jonesboro Baseball Boosters  are a not for profit organization to promote youth baseball in Jonesboro.

WHEREAS, the Jonesboro Baseball Boosters shall pay $7,500 to offset the cost of fertilizer, chemicals and seed.

WHEREAS, the Jonesboro Baseball Boosters shall be granted first priority to schedule the use of the fields.

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department and the Jonesboro Baseball Boosters desire to enter an agreement for the purpose of providing youth baseball  at Joe Mack Campbell Park.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the Parks and Recreation Department and the Jonesboro Baseball Boosters shall enter into an agreement to provide youth baseball at Joe Mack Campbell Park.

PASSED AND APPROVED this 7^th day of July, 2003.
