RESOLUTION TO REQUEST FREE ELECTRICAL SERVICE FROM CITY WATER AND LIGHT AT THE NORTH SIDE BALL PARK ON NORTH BRIDGE STREET

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT CITY WATER AND LIGHT PLANT OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, BE REQUESTED BY THIS RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE ELECTRICAL SERVICE TO THE FOLLOWING LOCATION:
The City of Jonesboro requests free installation/ construction costs for new flood lights at the North Side Ball Park located at 602 North Bridge Street, Jonesboro.
To permit such service to be provided without charge, the City of Jonesboro hereby affirms to City Water and Light that the ultimate use of the power so provided is now and shall remain a use or purpose which the City is engaged in as part of its governmental or proprietary functions under authority granted to it by state law.
