AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON CAROL CIRCLE WHICH IS LOCATED IN SHELBY ACRES IN JONESBORO, CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, ARKANSAS

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
Section 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all of its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the street designed as follows: "Carol Circle which is located in Shelby Acres in Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, as shown on the attached plat which is incorporated herein."
Section 2: a copy of the ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the recorder fro Craighead County, Arkansas, and should be filed in the Deed Records of such office.
Section 3: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, finds and declares that the above street is not necessary for the general benefit and welfare of the public; that the owners of all the property abutting the above street are in favor of the closure and vacation of the above street.
Section 4: The City Council further finds and declares that an emergency exists and this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of public peace, health and safety and shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and its passage and approval.
