RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS AUTHORIZING MUTUAL AID ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT WITH CRAIGHEAD COUNTY FOR WORK ASSISTING WITH THE TORNADO EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas has requested Craighead County to assist in debris removal and work at the city’s landfill due to the tornado emergency on March 28, 2020.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro that:

SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro shall enter into an agreement with Craighead County for the purpose reimbursing for work related to the emergency.

SECTION 2:  Mayor Harold Perrin and City Clerk Donna Jackson are authorized to execute such documents as necessary to effectuate this agreement.
