A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH ACS PLAYGROUND ADVENTURES TO PROVIDE AND INSTALL THE PLAYGROUND AND SYNTHETIC TURF SURFACING AT A NEW CITY PARK TO BE LOCATED ON DISCIPLE DRIVE

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has acquired land for the development of a new city park located on Disciple Drive;

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to enter into an agreement with ACS Playground Adventure for $602,041 to provide and install the playground, and synthetic turf surfacing, as detailed in the attached quote, at a new city park located on Disciple Drive; and,

WHEREAS, the funding for the execution of the agreement shall come from Capital Improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS;

Section 1. That the City of Jonesboro shall enter into an agreement ACS Playground Adventures to provide and install the playground and synthetic turf surfacing.at the new city park located on Disciple Drive.

Section 2. The funding for the execution of the agreement shall come from the Capital Improvement budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the agreement.

Section 3. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
