AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT AS PART OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO WEST 319 FEET OF SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 3 EAST

BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

WHEREAS, the County Court of Craighead County, Arkansas, on April 19, 1961, made and entered of record an order annexing to the City of Jonesboro the West 319 feet of Southeast Quarter of Northwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 14 North, Range 3 East; and,

WHEREAS, no protest in objection thereto has been filed with the County Clerk of Craighead County and more than thirty days have elapsed since said order and the petitioners now request that said land be annexed to the City of Jonesboro and the same be accepted by the Council of the City of Jonesboro:

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the City of Jonesboro:

Section 1: The City of Jonesboro hereby accepts the annexation of West 319 feet of Southeast Quarter of Northwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 14 North, Range 3 East to the City of Jonesboro as provided by the order of the County Court of Craighead County and places said land in Ward No.4 of said city.

Section 2: All ordinances in conflict herewith are herby repealed.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 5^th day of June, 1961.
