RESOLUTION TO CREATE AND APPOINT MEMBERS TO THE MAYOR'S HOUSING STUDY ADVISORY COMMITTEE

WHEREAS, JQUAD Planning Group recently completed a housing study for the City of Jonesboro;
WHEREAS, Mayor Perrin desires to create an advisory committee to review the housing study and make recommendations to departments and the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The Housing Study Advisory Committee is hereby created and shall consist of the following members:
Charles Frierson (Councilman)
Otis Spriggs (City Planner)
Terry Adams (Chief Building Official)
Basia Combs (Jonesboro Police Department)
LM Duncan (Chief Operating Officer)
Stephen Goad (President of the Homebuilders Association)
Brent Cassady (Landlord Association)
Fred Dacus (Arkansas Residential Housing & Healthcare Facilities Board)
SECTION 2: All members shall serve one-year terms to expire on May 15, 2013.
