A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT TO TERMINATE THE LEASE OF CITY PROPERTY AND ACCEPT THE IMPROVEMENTS LOCATED AT STRAWFLOOR DRIVE.

Body

WHEREAS, the Craighead County Solid Waste Disposal Authority desires to terminate its lease of land at 1620 Strawfloor Drive and release the Improvements to the City of Jonesboro; and

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to accept this lease termination; and

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to accept the Improvements to use in providing services for the citizens of Jonesboro.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:

The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to effectuate this agreement.
