Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:

SECTION ONE: The Sigma Chi Fraternity has volunteered to participate in the Jonesboro “Adopt a Street” Program. As such, they are hereby approved, and shall be officially responsible for the upkeep and adoption of the portion of roadway described as follows:

Aggie Road from Caraway Road to Fisher Street in and on the Arkansas State University area

SECTION TWO: It is further found that an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.

PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 15^TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1997.
