A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE CONTRACT AGREEMENTS WITH FISHER AND ARNOLD UNDER PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR 2400 E. NETTLETON AVENUE FLOOD ABATEMENT PROJECT

Body

WHEREAS, the City now desires to address a drainage location that has been identified as 2400 E. Nettleton Avenue within the city limits of Jonesboro; and

WHEREAS, the Administration and staff have negotiated with Fisher and Arnold, Inc., Engineers listed in the City's "Request for Qualifications" and have followed the State Professional Services guidelines and are recommending their selection.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT;

1: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Fisher and Arnold, Inc. for the project located at 2400 E. Nettleton Avenue in a sum not to exceed $7,500.00.

2. The funding for the execution of the contracts shall come from 07-100-0152-07 and compensation shall be provided upon completion of the project.
