RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON THE UNIMPROVED STREET RIGHTS-OF-WAY FOR NORMA DRIVE, CHARLES DRIVE AND CHINA DRIVE AS REQUESTED BY ST. BERNARD'S HOSPITAL

WHEREAS, all adjoining property owners have filed a Petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting the abandonment of the following:
The unimproved street rights of way for Norma Drive, Charles Drive and China Drive, all of said rights of way being located in the Metzler Addition to Jonesboro, Arkansas, as reflected by plat recorded in Deed Record 123 at page 130 of the records of the Circuit Clerk of Craighead County, Arkansas, at Jonesboro, Arkansas.
WHEREAS, the Petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; AND
WHEREAS, Arkansas Code Annotated 14-301-110 requires two weeks public notice before the above easements can be vacated and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advising the public of the request by the property owners to vacate and abandon the unimproved street rights of way for the aforesaid Norma Drive, Charles Drive and China Drive, and this matter will be heard before the City Council on December 2, 1996 at 6:20 p.m. o'clock, in Municipal Court Chambers, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
