AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTIONS 13-42 AND 13-45 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, RELATING TO THE PAYMENT OF LICENSE FEES AND EXCLUSION OF MINORS FROM BOWLING ALLEYS WITHIN THE CITY

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: Section 13-42 of the Code of Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas is hereby amended to read as follows:
“The amount of the annual license fee shall be Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) for the first pool table and Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each additional table thereafter in the place of business; Ten Dollars for each bowling lane located in said place of business. The City Council may permit the payment of a portion of the license fee for the remaining part of any year only after the first day of July of any year.”
Section 2: Section 13-45 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
“It shall be unlawful for any person owning, controlling or managing any pool room or billiard hall within the City to permit any person under the age of eighteen years to play pool or billiards within such hall or place.”
Section 3: The provisions of Section 1 of this Ordinance relating to a change of license fee for bowling lanes shall be retroactive to January 1, 1963.
