Body

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has desires to accept the low bid and enter into a contract for the Race Street Drainage Improvements Project;

WHEREAS, the low bidder and the firm selected for the Race Street Drainage Improvements Project is Alvin Crabtree dba Alvin Crabtree & Son;                   

WHEREAS, funding for the execution of the contract shall come from the Capital Improvements budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1:  That the City of Jonesboro shall accept the low bid and enter into a contract with Alvin Crabtree dba Alvin Crabtree & Son for the Race Street Drainage Improvements Project.

Section 2.  That funding for the execution of the contract shall come from the Capital Improvements budget and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the contract documents.
