A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH NABHOLZ CONSTRUCTION INC. TO PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES AND ALLOCATE $3,250,000 FOR THE DEMOLITION OF THE BUILDING LOCATED AT 100 W. WASHINGTON AVENUE

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to enter into an agreement to provide construction management services for the demolition of the building located at 100 W. Washington Avenue; and

WHEREAS, the Selection Committee has determined that Nabholz Construction is the most qualified firm for the project; and

WHEREAS, Nabholz Construction has agreed to provide construction management services for the demolition of the building located at 100 W. Washington Avenue; and

WHEREAS, the $3,250,000 funding for the execution of the agreement shall come from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Revenue Replacement Restricted Fund and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS;

Section 1. That the City of Jonesboro shall enter into an agreement with Nabholz to provide construction management services for the demolition of the building located at 100 W. Washington Avenue.

Section 2. $3,250,000 is allocated from the ARPA Revenue Replacement Restricted Fund for the project and compensation shall be paid in accordance with the agreement.

Section 3. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreement.
