RESOULTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON COOK STREET

WHEREAS, a petition has been filed by A.V. House, Jr., Wilma R., House, T.V. Wallis, Wilma J. Wallis and Herman Gibson requesting that a portion of Cook Street in Cartwright and French Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be abandoned and vacated as follows:

That portion of Cook Street in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, set out in the plat of Cartwright and French Additions to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, between French Street on the west and Cartwright Street on the east.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro give notice by publication once a week for two weeks in the Jonesboro Evening Sun apprising property owners affected that on the 7^th day of August, 1967, the Council will hear the petition and determine whether such property shall be abandoned as a street and whether all abutting property owners and others directly interested have consented to such abandonment.
