PUBLIC HEARING - 6:20 P.M. - This public hearing was set as requested by the Jonesboro Industrial Corp. for the purpose of vacating a drainage easement located east of Quality Way, one-half mile south of Highland Drive.

CITY COUNCIL AGENDA - February 5, 1996

1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.

2. Roll call by Clerk.

3. Approval of minutes from January 15, 1996 as provided.

4. City Attorney:

· Council’s decision regarding the Gary Winters appeal of the M.A.P.C.’s decision to grant a “Special Use Permit” to Dr. Jack Jones.

(A) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-2) to Commercial REVISION (C-4), located near the intersection of Highway 18 and Main Street by Jonesboro High School. (Betty Waddle & Patricia Waddel)

(B) 2nd reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential One to Commercial Three located at 2500 East Johnson. (Dianne Duschl\Skip Mooney, Sr.)

(C) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial REVISION (C-3) located at the intersection of Southwest Drive and Parker Road. (Doyle Yarbrough)
