AN ORDINANCE ALLOCATING AND TRANSFERRING MONEY FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND RESERVE OF THE OPERATING BUDGET, FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO THE E911 DEPARTMENT BUDGET, FOR THE PURPOSE OF HIRING ONE E911 CENTER POLICE DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL

WHEREAS, an immediate need has arisen for the hiring of (1) one additional E911 Department Personnel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: To allow the hiring of one (1) additional E911 Department Personnel.
SECTION 2: It is found and declared that due to the immediate need to preserve the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that an emergency is declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
