RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PHASE III OF THE MASTER DRAINAGE STUDY FOR THE COMPLETION OF A DRAINAGE MANUAL AND ORDINANCE PREPARATION

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro is desirous of moving on to Phase III of the Master Drainage Study which would provide for the completion of a drainage manual and preparation of a corresponding drainage ordinance, and

WHEREAS, the cost for Phase III will be approximately $27,000 with the allocation of the funds already approved in the 2004 budget, and

WHEREAS, the Infrastructure Committee recommends Phase III of the Master Drainage Study due to the federally mandated storm water regulations.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas to approve the expenditure and proceed with Phase III of the Master Drainage Study for the completion of a drainage manual and ordinance preparation.
