A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 107 FLINT STREET

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro entered into a lease agreement for certain real property located at 107 Flint Street, Jonesboro, AR 72401; and

WHEREAS, the Lease Agreement is to end on the 31^st day of January 2007, unless the city exercises the second of two (2) options to renew the Lease Agreement for an additional six (6) month period;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:

1.      The City Council agrees to exercise the second of two (2) options to renew the Lease Agreement for an additional six (6) month period.

2.      The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to effectuate this agreement.
