RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE ABANDONMENT OF LOMBARDY DRIVE, DAHLIA LANE, GLADIOLA DRIVE, ROSE LANE AND A PORTION OF PARADISE DRIVE

That the 3rd day of May, 1971, is hereby fixed as the day of the hearing upon the petition of the Nettleton-Phillips Consolidated School District praying for the abandonment and vacating of the following described streets or parts of streets located within the past of the Harley Kiech Addition to Nettleton, Arkansas, as filed for record in Book 123, Page 54, recorder's office at Jonesboro, Arkansas; all of Lombardy Drive; all of Dahlia Lane; all of Gladiola Drive; all of Rose Lane; all of Paradise Drive, except that part of Paradise Drive running northwesterly from the eastern intersection line of Progress Drive with Paradise Drive (so that the only streets in the Harley Kiech Addition will be Progress Drive and Paradise Drive running from Elm Road to Progress Drive and Paradise Drive running from Elm Road to Progress Drive), in the City of Jonesboro (formerly Town of Nettleton), Arkansas.
The City Clerk hereby is directed to give notice of the time and hearing of said meeting by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in Craighead County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas. The notice shall state the name of the property owners who signed the petition, the name of the streets and parts of streets thereof, to be vacated, and shall identify same by the abutting lot and block numbers and the notice shall advise all persons that on the 3rd of May, 1971, the Council will hear and determine whether the above described streets and parts of streets shall be vacated.
