RESOLUTION COMMENDING HOYT COPELAND FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY AND ITS CITIZENS WHILE SERVING ON THE CITY COUNCIL

WHEREAS, Hoyt Copeland has for the past several years served the City of Jonesboro as an Alderman of the Third Ward; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro desires to spread the following resolution upon the minutes:
RESOLVED, that the City Council recognizes the excellent, energetic and intelligent service that Mr. Copeland has rendered to the City during the many years he has served as Alderman of the Third Ward.
RESOLVED FURTHER, Mr. Copeland has performed an excellent service for our City and its people and the City Council and the people of the Third Ward and Jonesboro greatly appreciates his untiring service. The City Council pays its deepest respect, esteem and admiration unto him.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution shall spread upon the official minutes and become a lasting tribute to Mr. Copeland for his devotion to duty. And that a copy of this resolution be tendered to Mr. Copeland as an expression to the Council’s sincere appreciation and gratitude for the services rendered by him.
