ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

WHEREAS, the following described land is currently zoned “C-3” general commercial district:
A parcel of land lying in the Northeast Quarter (N.E.1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (S.W.1/4) Of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 3 East, Craighead County, at Jonesboro, Arkansas, said parcel also lying within a part of Lots 8-1O, 14, open space 3 and the private drive and alley as shown on the plat of Stone Creek, Pud - 2nd Revision, as recorded in Plat Cabinet “C”, at page 103, in and for the public records of Craighead County, at Jonesboro, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast Corner of the Northeast Quarter (N.E.1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (S.W.1/4) of Section 23 aforesaid, thence South Oo°27'16" West, along the East line of the Northeast Quarter (N.E.1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (S.W.1/4) of said Section 23, a distance of 198.88 feet to the Southeast Corner of the aforesaid open space 3, said point lying on the North Right-of-Way Line of West Nettleton Avenue; thence South 89°58'24" West, along said North Right-of-Way Line, a distance of 736.5o feet to a point lying on the centerline of a 100' Powerline Right-of-Way; thence North 18°21'41" West, along the centerline of said Powerline Right-of-Way and departing from said North Right-of-Way Line, a distance of 194.14 feet to a point lying on the North Line of the Northeast Quarter (N.E.1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (S.W.1/4) of said Section 23; thence north 88°55'41" east, along the north line of the northeast quarter (n.e.1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (S.W.1/4) of said Section 23 and departing from the centerline of said Powerline Right-of-Way, a distance of 799.37 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing in all 147,322 sq. ft. or 3.382 acres, more or less.
