A special meeting of the Planning Commission was held May 3, 1991 at 11:00 a.m. to consider the following requests.
Item #1 SP91-6 David Oesterbald, Go-Do Enterprises, Inc. requested approval of site plans for Arby’s Restaurant. The property is located on the south side of Highland Drive, west of the Craighead County Fairgrounds.
1. That 10’ additional right-of-way be granted on the east side of this property.
2. The developer ensuring that a temporary ditch will be placed to handle the water going southward from the Arby’s site.
3. The private gravel lane on the east side is not to be accessed at this time.
4. The owner, enter into a street improvement agreement for Fair Park Blvd. stating that when the road is improved this owner will participate in the costs of those improvements.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Patteson. Voting was 6 in favor, 0 opposed. REQUEST APPROVED WITH STIPULATIONS.
Item #2 RP91-13 Lance Sloan requested reconsideration of a replat of Lots 11 and 12 of Mabrey Meadows. The property is located on the south side of Roleson Lane, west of Wood Street.
It was stipulated at the April 9, 1991 meeting that a 7.5’ drainage easement be granted on Lot 12 of this subdivision, adjacent to Lot 13. Since that time the owner of Lot 13 has agreed to and provided the documentation for a 15’ drainage easement solely on Lot 13.
A motion to approve this request and accept the 15’ easement as submitted was made by Mr. McCracken and seconded by Mr. Damron. Voting was 6 in favor, 0 opposed. REQUEST APPROVED.
