RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS APPRECIATION TO JOE CLAY YOUNG III FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO AND ITS CITIZENS AS AN ALDERMAN

WHEREAS, Joe Clay Young III has for the past several years served the City of Jonesboro as an Alderman; and

 

WHERAS, Mr. Young has tendered his resignation to the Mayor of the City of Jonesboro; and

 

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Jonesboro desires to spread the following Resolution upon the minutes:

 

RESOLVED, that the City Council recognizes the excellent, energetic and intelligent service that Mr. Young has rendered to the City during the years he has served as Alderman of the Second Ward.

 

RESOLVED FURTHER, Mr. Young has performed an excellent service for our City and its people and the City Council, the people of the Second Ward and Jonesboro greatly appreciate his untiring service. In accepting his resignation, the City Council pays its deepest respect, esteem and admiration unto him.

 

FURTHER, RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution shall spread upon the official minutes and become a lasting tribute to Mr. Young for his devotion to duty. And that a copy of this Resolution be tendered to Mr. Young as an expression of the Council’s sincere appreciation and gratitude for the services rendered by him.
