RESOLUTION APPROVING MAYOR HAROLD PERRIN AS THE AUTHORIZED SIGNATORY FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO FOR THE ANNUAL FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION (FTA) CERTIFICATIONS AND ASSURANCES FOR THE JONESBORO ECONOMICAL TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM (JETS)

Whereas, the City of Jonesboro receives funding from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to help operate the Jonesboro Economical Transportation System (JETS) public transit service, and
Whereas, as a requirement for receiving this funding, the City of Jonesboro must sign annually the FTA Certifications and Assurances, attesting to the fact that the City of Jonesboro complies with all of the regulations set out in 49 USC 53 for the operation of JETS,
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro that Mayor Harold Perrin shall be the authorized signatory for the City of Jonesboro in attesting to the compliance by the City of Jonesboro with each section of the FTA Certifications and Assurances.
