AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY AND BUILDING SETBACK REGULATIONS FOR SIMS AVENUE FROM CULBERHOUSE TO WOOD STREET AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: From and after passage and adoption of this Ordinance, the street right-of-way of Sims Avenue from Culberhouse to Wood Street shall be 60 feet and the building setback shall be 30 feet from the centerline of Sims Avenue. The City of Jonesboro, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights together with the rights of the public generally in any other right-of-way other than the 60 feet right-of-way designated herein.
Section 2: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3: a copy of this Ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of the Jonesboro District of Craighead County and recorded in the deed records of said county.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
