AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON AN IMPROVED PORTION OF LOT 11, BLOCK H, EIGHTH ADDITION, CANDLEWOOD ESTATES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates, closes and abandons all of its rights together with the right of the public generally, in and to the property designated as follows with the exceptions listed in Section 2:
The improved portion of Lot 11, Block H, Eighth Addition, Candlewood Estates from the East 3.5 feet of the West 10 feet of the north 34 feet of the South 56.3 feet of the city of Jonesboro, Arkansas
SECTION 2: A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Craighead County at Jonesboro, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Records of Craighead County, Arkansas.
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas finds and declares that the above property is not necessary for the general benefit and welfare of the public; that the owners of all the property abutting the above property are in favor of the closure and vacation of the above property and that therefore an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force form and after its passage and approval.
