RESOLUTION TO LEVY A 2.1 MILL TAX ON ALL REAL PROPERTY AND A 4.6 MILL TAX ON ALL PERSONAL PROPERTY IN ORDER TO CARRY ON THE GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
For all City purposes and in order to carry on the Government of the City of Jonesboro, there shall be and there is hereby levied on all real property within the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas for the year 1986, taxes at a rate of 2.1 mills on the dollar, and 4.6 mills on the dollar for personal property, based on the appraisement of the County Assessor and the Board of Equalizers for the State, County and City Taxes. That the Clerk of the County Court is hereby authorized and directed to place said levy upon the tax books and the same shall be collected in the same manner and by the same person that County taxes are collected. That this resolution be in full force and effect from and after its passage and adoption, because it is found and determined that the City needs the levy of taxes herein provided for the efficient operation of the City Government.
