Minutes for the MAPC meeting on September 22, 1997.

MEMBERS PRESENT: Coleman, Damron, Finley, Little, Shaw, Beadles, Pitts, Gardner, Phillips
MEMBERS ABSENT: None.
#1 SP97-28 First Baptist Church requested approval of site plans for the Caraway Chapel of First Baptist Church. The property is located on the west side of Caraway Road, south of Aron Drive.
Ms. Shaw made a motion to approve the request with the following stipulations:
1. Adding a vicinity map to the site plan.
2. Proper engineering stamps being placed on the drawing.
3. Floodway certification to include a no rise elevation certificate on the parking lot and 40’ drive that are both located in the floodway. All must meet the City Engineer’s approval.
4. Proper dedication of right of way on Aron Drive on the north side and the utility easement on the south side. Improvements on Aron Drive are not being required as part of this first phase. Improvements will be required with later phases.
5. Adding dimensions to the parking spaces and drive aisles for a total of 60’ width.
6. Provide a copy of the approval of the septic system from the health department.
7. Approval today is just for Phase I, one building containing 6,576 sf on one lot with parking. All future phases will require MAPC approval.
The motion was seconded by Mr. Pitts. All members present voting aye, REQUEST APPROVED WITH STIPULATIONS.
