AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A 1999 BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS. (NOTE: THIS ORDINANCE WAS AMENDED BY ORD-99:1080 ON JANUARY 4, 1999; ORD-99:1254 ON JULY 6, 1999; ORD-99:1255 ON JULY 6, 1999; ORD-99:1228 ON SEPTEMBER 20, 1999; ORD-99:1225 ON OCTOBER 4, 1999; ORD-00:1056 ON JANUARY 17, 2000)

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas hereby adopts a 1999 budget in the amount of $31,430,408.
SECTION 2: The said budget includes all expenditures, personnel costs, operational costs, equipment, maintenance, repairs, holiday pay of all agents, servants and employees of the City of Jonesboro; including but not limited to uniform employees as provided for by the laws of the State of Arkansas and all other necessary expenditures to continue service of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance being necessary for the financial continuity of the City of Jonesboro, there is hereby declared to be an emergency and this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
