AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 954, THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO REZONE FROM (R-1) TO (I-2), CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHSIDE OF EAST HIGHLAND AVENUE, APPROXIMATELY 2000 FEET EAST OF QUALITY WAY

WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission has heard all persons desiring to be heard regarding the proposed rezoning of certain property generally located on the Southside of East Highland Avenue, approximately 2000 feet east of Quality Way, and has recommended to the City Council rezoning as described below:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
That Ordinance No. 954, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended by the change in zoning district classifications, from R-1 Residential to I-2 Industrial for the following described property:
The NE NE, SE NE, NE SE, SE SE, and the SW SE of S28, T14N, R5E.
