City of Jonesboro sold the land to Design Electrical Products, Inc. for $25,200. Warranty deed dated September 8, 1989. In the sale, City of Jonesboro opted to have first refusal if Design Products chose to sell the land.
Design Products decided they no longer needed the land, so they sold it back to the City for the same price as what Design Products paid in 1989. Warranty deed dated January 9, 1991.
Does the city still own the property? Yes
Deed selling property back to the City was filed in the Circuit Clerk’s Office on January 15, 1991, in Book 401 Pages 3-4.
