AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 8-10 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

Section 1: That Section 8-10 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Jonesboro is hereby amended to change No.14 to read as follows:

“Section 8-10 14 No Circuit shall be wired with less than #12 wire and aluminum wire romex will not be permitted.”

Section 2: It is found and declared by the City Council that due to the insufficient wiring an emergency is hereby declared to exist and for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 6^th day of April, 1970.
