1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.
2. Roll call by Clerk.
3. Approval of minutes from October 20, 1997, as provided.
· Request to address Council regarding Ordinance No. 2787. (People for Parks / Don Mullinex)
4. City Attorney:
(A) 3RD reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial C-5, located at 1009 S. Main Street. (Deloris White)
(B) 3RD reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3), located on the south side of Tall Birch Road, west of Strawfloor Drive. (Floyd Wineland)
(C) 1st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Commercial (C-3) to Residential (R-3), located on the east side of Western Gales Drive, south of Macedonia Road. (Sage Meadows/C.M. Mooney)
(D) 1st reading - Ordinance granting a fifteen (15) year franchise extension to TCA Cable.
5. Resolution to proceed with condemnation action on the three following Jonesboro properties:

519 North Second
206 Forrest St
6. Resolution to place traffic signs in various locations within Jonesboro, as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Traffic Authority.
7. Resolution setting a public hearing to discuss taxable Act 9 industrial revenue bonds for Frito-Lay, Inc.
8. Review the following appointments/ reappointments:
· Reappointment of Elizabeth Stafford to the Board of Directors of the Jonesboro Urban Renewal & Housing Authority with an expiration date of November 2002.
· Reappointment of Jeannie Vanhorn, E.T. Kendall, with the appointment of Tom Simms to replace Tracy Anderson on the Metropolitan Area Traffic Authority.

· Audit Committee Report regarding in-house audit for 1996.
