AN ORDINANCE ADOPTED PURSUANT TO ACT 1112 OF 2017 AND APPLICABLE ABC REGULATIONS APPROVING THE PRIVATE CLUB APPLICATION FOR THE OPERATION SIDEKICK FOUNDATION OF ARKANSAS d/b/a SUNNY’S ON MAIN (“SUNNY’S ON MAIN”) AT 237 S. MAIN STREET, JONESBORO, CRAIGHEAD COUNTY, ARKANSAS.

WHEREAS, Act 1112 of 2017 requires applicants for private club license obtain approval of the governing body of the city or county where the private club is to be located; and
WHEREAS, SUNNY’S ON MAIN has made proper application with the City of Jonesboro for a private club at 237 S. Main Street, Jonesboro, Craighead County, such application received by the Jonesboro Police Department.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas, has reviewed the application of SUNNY’S ON MAIN and finds it meets the requirements of law; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas:
Article I. That the private club application of SUNNY’S ON MAIN for issuance of a private club license at 237 S. Main Street, Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, be, and it hereby is, approved by the City Council of the Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas.
Article II. That pursuant to Act 1112 of 2017, SUNNY’S ON MAIN is hereby authorized to file a private club application with the, Department of Finance and Administration, Alcoholic Beverage Control Division, for the location at 237 S. Main Street, Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas. A copy of this Ordinance shall be provided to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Division, Department of Finance and Administration along with the ABC private club application of SUNNY’S ON MAIN.
Article III. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
