AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE SECTION 2-576 TO ADD INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AUDIT SERVICES AS A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas adopted Ordinance Section 2-576 which provides a definition of professional services, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to amend that definition to add Information Technology Audit Services to the definition of professional services contained in Section 2-576(a), and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 19-11-801 (c) the City of Jonesboro may add to the definition of professional services by a two thirds (2/3) vote of the City Council.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, that Ordinance 2-576 (a) shall be amended to add Information Technology Audit Services to the list of professional services defined therein.
