A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS ACCEPTING BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FENCING AT CRAIGHEAD FOREST PARK ATV AREA

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains the ATV area located in Craighead Forest Park at 4910 S. Culberhouse Road.

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro solicited bids for the fencing of the perimeter of the ATV area and the low bidder was West Memphis Fence with a low bid of $26,536.

WHEREAS, the funds for the fencing project shall come from 2006 budget line item 07-000-0500-05 Arkansas Highway and Transportation ATV Grant;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro accepts the low bid of $26,536.00 from West Memphis Fence to construct fencing for the perimeter of the ATV area at Craighead Forest Park.

SECTION 2: The Mayor, Doug Formon and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
