A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE CONTRACT AGREEMENTS WITH VARIOUS ENGINEERS UNDER PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR VARIOUS DRAINAGE PROJECTS.

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro desires to address various drainage locations that have been identified as "hot spots" within the city limits of Jonesboro; and
WHEREAS, The Administration and staff have negotiated with drainage engineers listed in the City "Request for Qualifications" and have followed the State Professional Services guidelines and are recommending their selections.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE City of Jonesboro, ARKANSAS THAT:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the following drainage engineers for the following drainage projects:

2. The funding for the execution of contracts shall come from the account, Drainage Study Part II, #07-100-025-000 compensation shall be provided upon completion of the project on or before November 28, 2006.
