RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS APPRECIATION TO EUGENE SMITH FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO AND ITS CITIZENS AS AN ALDERMAN

WHEREAS, Dr. Eugene Smith has served the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas as Alderman from Ward 6, Position 1 since April 5, 1982.

WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make this resolution a part of the permanent record.

WHEREAS, that the City Council recognizes the excellent and untiring service Dr. Eugene Smith has rendered to the City of Jonesboro and its citizens during these months he has served as Alderman.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, Dr. Eugene Smith has performed a great service for our City and its people and the City Council and the citizens of Jonesboro greatly appreciate his service.

PASSED and adopted this 5^th day of March, 1984.
