AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 954, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR CHANGES IN ZONING BOUNDARIES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 954 known as the zoning ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be amended as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission ( RZ90-41 ) by the changes in zoning classifications as follows: (Rodney Dunlap).
From Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3) the following described property:
A part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 4, Township North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas to wit: From the southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 4, run South 89°51' West 49.5 feet to the point of beginning; then continue South 89°51' West 270.5 feet; then north 30° 02' East 194.3 feet; then run North 30°15' East 334.2 feet; then run South 66°29' East 17.0 feet; then run South 01°21' West 449.6 feet to the point of beginning, containing 1.50 acres.
SECTION 2: It is found the declared by the City Council that the proper use of the tract(s) of land described above in this ordinance is being delayed because of improper zoning, and that, therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance, being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
