WHEREAS, Mr. Wayne Dowdy has served the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas on the Police Force since April 15, 1966.

WHEREAS, The City Council desires to make this resolution a part of the permanent record.

WHEREAS, that the City Council recognizes the excellent and untiring service Wayne Dowdy has rendered to the City of Jonesboro and its Citizens during these years he has served as a Police Officer.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, Wayne Dowdy has performed a great service for our City and its people and the City Council and it’s Citizens of Jonesboro greatly appreciate his service.

PASSED and adopted this 21^st day of July, 1986.
